Thoughts while watching the Stars

"Wow! Did you see that sis!? A Shooting Star! A REAL Shooting Star!"

SheShe smiled as she watched Mimi dance with joy  as soon as she saw the bright object fly overhead before disappearing over the edge of the sea. She had to admit, it was beautiful. She and her sister were mostly underwater and rarely on the surface, only when they needed take the Mermaid Princess' Pearls or cause the Elric Brothers trouble. 

But they never stopped to take a look around the surface or admire it's beauty.

And this was one beauty she really enjoyed.

The beautiful starry, night sky.

The calm ocean waters.

And of course, being with her sister.

"Yeah. It's really something." She agreed with a rare smile.

"Quick! We gotta make a wish!" Mimi announced before clasping her hands together and closing her eyes tightly.

SheShe watched in amusement as her sister went silent before looking up slightly to the rock that was beside her.

"You know, you could at least be a bit more upbeat. It's not like it will kill ya." She joked to the figure standing on the rocky formation while looking into the sky.

The robotic being, whose eyes were as red as hot lava and with pupils as dark as the night, gazed lazily downwards to the Black Beauty Sister before looking back up, the stars shining off of his blue and silver body. As always, he said little and preferred to be silent.

"Come on, don't tell me your not the least bit curious about what's up there?" She asked with a disbelieving tone and amused expression.

"Not at all." Was his reply, his tone holding no emotion as expected. "I was made by Lord Mikeru to serve you two alone to ensure the capture of the Mermaids and Elric Brothers. Nothing else matters." 

"Now we both know that not true." SheShe dropped the smile and threw him an unconvinced frown. "We've seen you act on your own three times now, one of them saving us from the Mermaid Princesses. That little runt Fuku told you to leave us. Abandon us like trash... yet you went ahead to come back for us."

Metal simply ignored her, but SheShe could faintly see a twitch of his metal hand, causing her smile to return, if a little slowly.

"Look, I know we got off the wrong foot when we first met and we got on each others nerves... but you gotta admit, it was fun. Even now, your staying with us now instead of returning to Mikeru. Also, your pretty cool. And that voice would go great for our 'Voice in the Dark' duet." She listed off with a smile before looking back at Mimi, who was still making her wish. "To be honest... I don't mind our duo becoming a trio instead."

"...Why?" He asked, genuinely confused and looking down at her.

"Well... Guess those dorks friendship junk is getting to me... that and Mimi likes you." She said before her eyes turned to the sand she was sitting on. "...And so do I."

Metal didn't say anything. What could he say? It was true, Mikeru only created him to assist the sisters in their mission and that objective alone... and yet, as time went by, his programming began to change little by little and soon enough... he began to tolerate their presence... he even liked their little performances. 

"Okay! I made my wish!" Mimi finally spoke before turning to them with an overjoyed, yet playful look. "And it came true!"

SheShe chuckled, but decided to humor her. "Alright, what was it?"

"The three of us getting along!" She giggled cheekily.

"How convenient." SheShe laughed with her little sister as Metal continued to look into the sky. 

"So, not a bad wish, huh Metal?" Mimi asked with a smile, looking to the robot.

As another star shot across the sky, Metal could have sworn that if he had a mouth... he would be smiling.

"No... I believe that is the best wish you have ever made Mimi."
